Alec, a white 4 year old blonde haired, blue eyed, happy little boy, along with Toria, his white 10 year old sister who has long brown hair and hazel green eyes with glasses, take their sick grandma on a quest to find a special flower to make her better. They hold hands and jump into a large opening inside a large tree covered in moss, mushrooms and flowering vines. They eneter into a magical realm full of magical creatures like tiny fairies, majestic unicorns and mermaids. They help them on their quest by giving them secret doors to go through to find this magical flower. But as they continued on these magical paths, Grandma became so happy in this realm that she decided that because she felt so much better in this enchanted place, that she would like to go ahead and stay. Alec and Toria were sad at first, but he magical creatures gave them a special magical key that they could use anytime they missed their grandma. The could just close their eyes when they turned the key and with their imaginations, would jump right back into the magical land. Grandma was happier than ever before and could do wonderful things. She swam with the mermaids and could even breathe like them under water! She was able to fly where she wanted when she would go on adventures with her fairy friends. The unicorns would always follow and whinny and dance around her with delight. Alec and Toria loved this land too but knew they could only visit once in a while. As they grew, they would visit their grandma, but less and less as there families grew. But they never forget and they always have their secret enchanted key to jump through the tree door anytime they wish. One day many years from now, they too will join their grandma for the magical adventures that await them beyond the tree door.

Jun Jie observed closely, saying, “The design here is so interesting; it must have been great for keeping pirates away!” Page 4 Xiao Ling exclaimed, “Look at the steps in front of the gate! This design makes it hard for enemies to attack!” Everyone nodded, impressed by the wisdom of the ancients. Page 5 Next, they visited the Tin Hau Temple. Wen Yu pointed at the statue and said, “This is Tin Hau, who protects us. She has the Eye and Ear of Heaven beside her!” Page 6 In the temple, Yao Yao discovered two ancient bronze bells and thought, “These bells must have been rung by villagers praying for safety.” They all felt the sacred atmosphere of the temple. Page 7 Finally, they arrived at the Song Ling Tang Temple. Wen Yu said, “This is built to honor our ancestor, Deng Song Ling. What a place full of stories!” They quietly felt the weight of history. Page 8 On their way home, the four friends shared their discoveries and felt a deep respect for Lung Yue Tau. They promised to return next time and explore more secrets!

deux petites filles s'enfoncent dans la foret, envoyée par leur mere pour aller cueillir des fraises pour la tarte qu'elle est en train de préparer. elle finissent par voir une vieille petite cabane avec de la fumée qui sort par la cheminée. la plus grande dahlia veut passer son chemin, la plus petite mya tres téméraire, veut absolument voir s'il y a quelqu'un dedans. elles se chamaillent à ce sujet quand tout a coup la porte s'ouvre dans un grincement. mais tjrs personne. il fait noir a l'intérieur. mais mya veut entrer et dahlia non. mya court et entre, dahlia a peur pour elle et la suit. a l'intérieur, une vieille dame au nez crochu et au chapeau de sorcière est en train de faire bouillir de l'eau sur la marmite sur le feu. elle dit bonjour aux filles et demandes si elles sont perdues, et si elles ont faim. dahlia dit non et non, mya dit oui et oui, au grand désespoir de dahlia. la sorcière sourit et dit que ca tombe bien, qu'elle prépare une bonne soupe. 10 fois, elle demande alors aux filles si elles aiment tel ou tel ingrédient. lorsque elle commence sa phrase on dirait qu'elle parle d'un ingrédient délicieux, et Mya crie OUI j'adore ! et Dahlia dit non. par exemple la sorcière demande si elles aiment le caramel MOU .... (ici mya dit OUI Dahlia dit NON) puis la sorcière termine : CHES grillées ! (= mouches grillées). pareil avec les "vers gluants" et 8 autres du meme genre. a la fin, la sorcière verse un grand bol de soupe et demande laquelle en veut. sans attendre de réponse elle se dirige vers mya car elle est persuadé qu'elle va dire OUI. Mais non mya dit NON, finalement je n'aime pas les mouches grillées, ni les vers gluants, ni les .... (tous les 10). et puis surtout, NON je mangerais jamais quelque chose que me donne un inconnu, encore moins une sorcière dans les bois. et les filles s'enfuient en riant.
